Questions
What size is an Indian passport photo?
The printed photo is 3.5 × 4.5 cm. For the online Passport Seva upload, a square JPG is used. Choose the matching option at the top of the tool.
How do I print passport photos at home or a shop?
Choose the print size, then use Download sheet of 8. You get a 4 × 6 inch JPG with 8 photos. Any photo shop can print it as a normal 4 × 6 photo for a few rupees, then cut along the lines.
Can this tool change my background to white?
Not yet. Stand in front of a plain white or light wall in good daylight, and the background will already be right.
Is my photo safe?
Yes. The photo is processed in your browser and is never uploaded to any server.
